Anita K. Kremer
President, CEO, Founder

A senior housing industry veteran, Anita brings 24 years of experience to overseeing all aspects of the Alternatives For Seniors franchise system. In 1992, Anita established Alternatives for Seniors, a print and online senior living and care directory. Prior to her current role, Anita was Vice President of Redevelopment for Equity Residential, a major property management firm in Chicago where she developed marketing and renovation programs for apartment communities. She has also served as General Manager of The Marketplace, an architectural design and sales center in Philadelphia, and Director of New Market Development for Village Green Cos, a multi-family apartment developer and manager in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Charlene Rismann, NHA, CSA
Director of Information Center and Training

A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Certified Senior Advisor, Charlene brings more than 20 years of experience as an Executive Director in the senior housing industry. As Director of our Information Center, Charlene oversees all senior housing counseling with our consumers and is also responsible for overseeing franchisee training.

Nancy Roth
Administration, Accounting

Serving as our Account Manager, Nancy handles all day-to-day accounting operations as well as Human Resources. Nancy’s previous experience includes serving as Corporate Controller for The Schmidt Companies, Ltd. Her responsibilities there included developing and implementing complete day to day operations for the accounting and HR department including maintaining corporate bank accounts, daily reports from the POS system, weekly & monthly financial reports, daily cash flow & budget projections. Nancy holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Macomb County College, Macomb, Michigan.

KellyAnne Solomon
Administration, Marketing and Sales

A distinguished veteran in the fields of executive project management, customer service and quality control, KellyAnne has been with Alternatives for Seniors since 2011. She currently serves as our Project Manager, coordinating business processes between management, sales, graphics, and accounting departments as well as overseeing all quality control. KellyAnne obtained a Bachelor’s degree at Wayne State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude on a Presidential Full Academic Scholarship, and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified (DMAIC).

Jules Wenzel-Marrier
Director of Graphics and Social Media

An award-winning graphic designer, Jules has been with Alternatives For Seniors since 2006. Jules performs all design, layout and production from our marketing materials to our print and on-line referral directories. She also designs and updates content on the Alternatives for Seniors company website, and is currently responsible for managing our social media accounts. Jules’ extensive creative background includes marketing, photography, and complex design project management.

Janessa Allen, CPA, MCAD
Director Information Technology - Software Developer

An IT veteran with 20 years of experience, Janessa handles the design, implementation and maintenance of the Alternatives for Seniors website and supporting web administrative systems. Janessa also created and maintains our proprietary software system. She’s been a certified Microsoft Technology Specialist since 2003, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University.
